A woman at a conference today asked a great question: “How do I get from where I’m at to my goal which seems so far away and unachievable?”
I suggested it’s not the straight direct path that we dream of and imagine.
It starts with getting in the habit of taking risks and doing new things. Every time we do something new, I believe it’s like throwing a pebble in the universal karmic pond of life. There are ripples. There’s expanding energy.
With every new experience, with every new skill, we gain confidence that we are totally capable of learning and growing at any age. It doesn’t have to be directly related to your goal. It doesn’t matter. It only matters that you do something different.
When we do something new, our world opens up with possibilities . What we wish for is within reach when we are ready to change and move forward. This is not an overnight, snap your fingers thing.
It takes pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
Wherever you are today, is a good starting point. Take the first step: dare yourself. I dare you.
